What is your opinion of this design found on Tealer's website?

Really?
Tealer makes people think.  http://www.tealer.fr/en/
The idea is not to create a long-lasting shirt.
The idea is to create a look for that evening or for the next ten washings.    LINK   Facebook

Certainly some of the designs are intended to catch attention or to shock or inspire the viewer to think about something new.

Did you consider this guy to be a Robin Hood?   Who knew that Escobar created schools?
In 1982, Escobar was elected as an alternate member of the Chamber of Representatives of Colombia as part of the Colombian Liberal Party. Through this, he was responsible for the construction of many hospitals, schools, and churches in western Colombia, which gained him popularity inside the local Roman Catholic Church, as well as with the locals of the towns he frequented.
So he was a Robin Hood?
However, a short view of his wikipedia page changed my mind...
However, Escobar was vilified by the Colombian and American governments, due to the exploits of his political power, which resulted in Colombia becoming the murder capital of the world.[7] In 1993, Escobar was shot and killed by Colombian National Police, in his hometown, 24 hours after his 44th birthday.[8][9]

http://www.tealer.fr/en/print/2514-polaroid.html   After reading about Escobar, do you want to wear this design?   It is an interesting point to think about.
Do we want to promote positive feelings about people who killed people?
Do we want to provide additional information for people to consider?
Do we want to ban creative designs?

The expression "plata or plomo" means "silver or lead" or "take a bribe or get bullets."

Plata o plomo

Corruption and intimidation characterized Escobar's dealings with the Colombian system. He worked to implement an effective, inescapable policy for dealing with law enforcement and the government, referred to as "plata o plomo" (literally "silver or lead", colloquially "[accept] money or [face] bullets"). Its execution resulted in the deaths of hundreds of individuals, including civilians, policemen, and state officials. At the same time, Escobar bribed countless government officials, judges, and other politicians. He was allegedly responsible for the 1989 murder of Colombian presidential candidate Luis Carlos Galán, the heavy favorite in the 1990 Colombian presidential election, as well as for the bombing of Avianca Flight 203 and the 1989 DAS Building bombing in Bogotá. The Medellín Cartel would also be involved in a deadly drug war with its primary rival, the Cali Cartel, for most of its existence.[citation needed]

What is your opinion?  Could Tealer put a link to Wikipedia to ask people to consider carefully before buying the shirt?

 about GMO Cotton
Would we also require people to see a link to information that might give a fuller picture about the sweat factories that are involved when we buy a t-shirt that is made without organic cotton?   (See the BEHIND THE LABEL documentary by Sebastiano Tecchio).   If your shirt is cheaper than $20 and it contains cotton, it's probably made with GMO cotton designed by Monsanto.

The video about cotton has several similar documentaries

Wikipedia is edited by hundreds of people.   Eventually somebody puts a warning on an article.   So you can be sure that some of the information on Wikipedia is accurate.

Wikipedia is open to anonymous and collaborative editing, so assessments of its reliability usually include examination of how quickly false or misleading information is removed. An early study conducted by IBM researchers in 2003—two years following Wikipedia's establishment—found that "vandalism is usually repaired extremely quickly—so quickly that most users will never see its effects"[15] and concluded that Wikipedia had "surprisingly effective self-healing capabilities".[16]

I learned about Tealer from a U.S. citizen who saw the Tealer video and wanted to show me how a  group of young people created a company that listens to its customers.   As a high school teacher, I tend to avoid thinking about negative things, so I had not thought about Pablo Escobar in more than 5 years.   Tealer's choices sometimes cause me pain, but pain is often a sign that there is a part of life that has been ignored.   I hope that this blog post pushes you to click on Tealer and help expand awareness of their business model and their products.   I would not want to wear many of their items, but I can say that about Tommy Hilfiger, too.
Bravo to Tealer for making an old man think twice and learn something about Escobar.   Click here to learn how you can start creating, too.

You can visit the Tealer store in Paris and see that EVERY SHIRT and ITEM for sale has a logo or design created by the owners and employees of the store.

No Tommy Hilfiger
No Ralph Lauren
No other designs.  Every item is stamped with the creativity of a store employee

The store is a place where people create.  Even the lighting is a message.  The lights are the same as the lights that are used in agriculture.  They are "grow lights."

The atmosphere in the TEALER store says "ideas become real in this place."

The purpose of this blog post is to inspire you to click on some of these links.  You will spread the message of Tealer (Tee dealer).
